What is pickleball?
Pickleball is a fast-growing racket sport combining elements of tennis, table tennis and badminton. Played with a perforated ball on a smaller court. Suitable for all ages and skill levels.

How does registration work?
- 1Create an account or log in.
- 2On the Games page, pick a game you want to join.
- 3Click "Register" – your spot is reserved.
- 4If the game is full, you'll be added to the waitlist and automatically get a spot if someone cancels.
- 5You can cancel your registration at any time before the game starts.
Rules & etiquette
- •Arrive on time – the game starts punctually.
- •If you can't make it, cancel your registration as early as possible so the spot goes to someone on the waitlist.
- •Respect other players and maintain good sportsmanship.
- •Beginners are always welcome – experienced players will help you learn.
What to bring?
- ✓Comfortable sportswear.
- ✓Sports shoes (not football or running shoes).
- ✓A water bottle.
- ✓Paddles and balls are provided – or bring your own.
Americano tournament
Americano is a popular pickleball tournament format where every player pairs up with every other player. Partners rotate after each set, so everyone gets to know each other and all teams have equal chances.
How does it work?
- 1An admin or registered player creates an Americano game during an active session.
- 2Players are automatically split into pairs using a round-robin schedule.
- 3Each set is played to a fixed number of points (e.g. 16). Both teams' scores must add up to that number – e.g. 13–3 or 10–6.
- 4After each set, partners rotate – throughout the tournament you play with different people.
- 5All registered participants can enter and follow scores live – directly through the app in real-time.
- 6An Americano game can be created no earlier than 15 minutes before the session starts.
Scoring system
- •Each set has a fixed point limit (e.g. 16 points).
- •The sum of both teams' scores always equals the limit: e.g. 13–3, 10–6, 9–7.
- •Individual points accumulate throughout the tournament – what you score is yours.
- •The leaderboard across all Americano tournaments can be viewed under "Americano Stats".
Elo rating system
Elo is a mathematical system that evaluates each player's level based on who they played against and what the result was. The stronger the opponents – the more points you gain by winning.
- •Every player starts at 1000 points.
- •Beating a stronger team earns more Elo; losing to a weaker team costs more.
- •Calculated from each match result and the average rating of both teams.
- •Guests (without an account) are not included in Elo calculations.
📢 Court maintenance contribution
The Jonažolės pickleball courts are a shared space — no one else will maintain them if we don't take care of them ourselves. We ask every player who can afford it to contribute €20 as a seasonal fee towards court upkeep. Sigitas collects contributions in person — you can hand it over at any game.
